influential fashion destinations this winter – if you’re looking to dress the

New York
First on your hit list? New York. Proudly owning the title of
the birthplace of streetwear, New York is home to some of the most iconic shopping
districts in the world and is a hub for fast fashion. Fashion week or not, New
Yorkers ooze effortless chic and most importantly, they wear their looks with
confidence. In the big apple, it’s all about confidence. Think of the city’s sidewalks
as one never-ending catwalk and you’ll see how the clothes speak for
themselves.
Top tip: A leather jacket is invaluable in New York. It
doesn’t matter if you’re wearing a jumpsuit or a ballgown, it’s a New York
must-have.
London

Whether they submissively follow catwalk trends, or astutely overthrow them is irrelevant, it’s the taking part that counts. London is a city full of opportunities and creativity and designers are more frequently than ever insisting that their studios are based in London – but why? Well, it’s mainly due to the copious amounts of diversity and unique cultures that are available in the city, as well as the fact that many Londoners live by the motto that being on trend is wearing what makes you feel good. It is these components that keep the excitement alive in the fashion industry.

Paris
Of course, a list of the most fashionable destinations isn’t complete if Paris, the home of high fashion and breton stripes, hasn’t been mentioned. The cobbled streets of Paris are littered with vintage offerings and haute couture. If one is in need of a little luxury or a few fashion-forward boutiques, Paris is the city you should book flights to. Apart from the fact that French women share a heritage with Chanel, they are also considered to be street style superlatives. The Parisians are known for finding something they like and sticking to it. It’s all about the timeless, well-cut, classic look.

Berlin
The final destination that should be explored has searched and successfully found a hotspot on the fashion map. Throughout fashion week, Berlin will be buzzing with the country’s most chic who have turned away from the glitz and headed straight for cutting edge. Berlin’s fashion scene offers a mix of high-tech street wear, relaxed fit business attire and an abundance of innovative eye candy. With some big brands investing their all into the aforementioned cities, Berlin’s fashion week is able to create more opportunities for new designers and nurture avant-garde ideas.
Berlin is onto something quite remarkable through not
chasing the Hollywood fashion dream and the city is fast becoming the champion
of cool.
So, pack your (very large) suitcases, fashion flock. Pile on
your most prized pieces and head to the most fashionable week of your choice. You
